I took a casual walk Friday afternoon. It was windy, a little bit chilly, and quiet! Certainly it was one of the peaceful moments on campus. I love it!

Long due trip -- Tulip Festival, Woodburn, Oregon

Should have been there already,well, this is one of those many things that I wanted to do but not yet! By saying that, it only took a little effort to move myself out there:-)

It was such a pleasant trip with several friends in a Saturday morning. Ching-chia brought up the intention, otherwise, who knows, it could just slip away, even though, I have been thinking about the tulips back to March! Well, overall, it is a good feeling of doing the right thing at the right moment! With the tulips around you, what can possiblly go wrong anyway. Never see this much tuplips all togther, colorful? you bet! The rain was on and off, and it was kind of chilly too. Who cares! I was drawn to the tulip world, absolutely!!! Sorry for Xiang, she might feel cold though. The wood shoe making was fun to wathcing too, I'll have the pictures posted later.

Also, congrate to Fei, while assisted by Meng, took his debute trip on I-5, now he thouhgt that he can drive to PDX already! Also achieved a music exchange plan with Raul, metallic music? come on, not sure? well, we'll see. By the way, it was somewhat a surprise that I had to drive off-road for a while, that was a wired exit routing plan,that could be a great course project for transpo grads:-) Good luck for midterms!

I asked one of my friend, Raul, to playing guitar, in our office, yes, in our office! And suddenly, the study-ish atomosphere was gone, totally! There you go, three of us (Andrew, Raul, and me), singing, typing, playing, echoing all together! You'll be amazed of the explosive voice, nice rhythm, interesting conversition, especially after some drink :-) well, nice moement after some tough time. Spring break is coming, for most of us, it only means to study or work, ya, tipical graduate student life, if you are one of us, or you were before, then you know what I'm talking about!

However, chill, everyone, chill! Shall we? Have a life and have some fun!

Should go to bed, kind of late, yes, I will, a nice dream is waiting, a restful night is coming, a bright and and beautiful beautiful day is swinging! Cheers, everyone, cheers!

There are the things that I really like to catch for years, however, I pushed them alway since I told myself that "I am busy now"! What kind of excuse is that! I waited, and it has all gone. They will never be the same, ever! So this year, they are here, and I am here too, really be here, right at this moment. I have them, I have the moment, I have the joy. What's more importantly, there is no regret any more.

Spring will officially start from 4:40pm PT March 20, 2009! Party everyone:-)

Mindfulness and Blueberry Picking

I have been tried mindfulness meditation for a while, however, my mind just kept wandering around, like at Disneyland :-) What do you know, I was getting much closer to the mindfulness while picking blueberry during the summer! What an awesome feeling! While picking up my favorite fruits, I was able to pick up something else, something that I can benefit from not only in the summer. Life is just like it, isn't it? We pick up stuffs along the journey. It will be such an rich experience for all of us only if we stay at the moment, live at the moment. Have some quiet time with ourselves, we deserve it, and much better!

After an hour's effort, at least! Almost 8 lb !

Hi, I actually have been to the Pacific City before, on April 15 2003. More than 5 years ago on a field trip to the Oregon coast through a class of ocean engineering. Believe me, went to five beaches in one day in the mid of April, it was not something you'd think it would be. Also, keep your old pictures, surprises are coming from there:-)
